The Propagation of Magnetocentrifugally Launched  Jets
A. Frank, T. Lery, D Ryu, T. Jones, & T. Gardiner

Here we show the results of simulations of the propagation of jets from two different sources.

  1. A Kepler disk
  2. A Kepler disk with a rigidly rotating disk/star boundary
The equilibrium cross section for these jets are calculated via T. Lery's asympototic
method.  Below we show the cross sections for the two jets (click on the figure for an enlarged version)

Simulation Results
Below we show the results of simulations.  Each run used a 256x1024 grid.  The jet spanned 64 grids.
We have simulated each jet using either adiabtaic (\gamma = 5/3) or isothermal conditions (\gamma = 1.01)
