n_ambient = 60 cm^-3
v_ambient = 10^7 cm/s
T_ambient = 10^4 K
cell length = 2.5e15 cm
problem domain = 100 cells
The medium flows "into" the shock at cell 40. At this point, the medium takes on the post-shock values derived from the ambient flow variables (the ambient velocity of 10^7 cm/s works with the ambient density and pressure to give us a Mach value of 8.52). Cooling in the Delamarter test is handled using a simplified cooling curve lambda/n^2 = bTa, where a = 2 and b = 1.23786e-34.

using Matlab. The resulting solutions for density, velocity and pressure provided the initial conditions used to set up the AstroBEAR problem.
