The method: MUSCL Primitive Fields and Eno flux function with the time stepping method of Shu & Osher.
| n | vx | vy | p | |
| Preshock Region | 1.4 | 0 | 0 | 1 |
| Postshock Region | 8 | 8.25 cos (π/2-α) | -8.25 sin (π/2-α) | 116.5 |
The regions are defined by the line xs= 1/6 + y/tan α, α = π/3. The preshock region is x > xs.
Boundary Conditions: Left edge has inflow condition. Right edge is extrapolating. Top boundary fits to theoretical speed of shock front. Bottom edge is reflecting, with extra condition for x<1/6 that serves to keep shock anchored on boundary.
