The latest news about space science, astrophysics and space exploration can be found on the NASA Space Science website. 

Two respectable magazines intended for amateur astronomers, Astronomy and Sky and Telescope, have websites with good news sections, feature articles, and access to maps of the sky, finding charts, and online planetarium programs.

Generally, one has to be wary of commercial websites with science content (see Warning). And space.com could be considered to court confusion by including both science and science fiction content. However, they've done a pretty good job of separating and labelling their facts and fiction. In particular, their astronomy section is very well done.
