Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement:
Using parametric down conversion, we can create two entangled photons from one. Because their momentum and positions are correlated, we're able to measure and affect these quantities for one photon indirectly by affecting the other. This is all based on the momentum-position realization of the EPR paradox. Using this approach we have achieved a measured two-photon momentum-position variance product of 0.01 h2, which dramatically violates the bounds for the EPR and separability criteria.
