About the Detector
The detector is appoximately 0.75m x 3m. It now resides in the attic of Bausch and Lomb Hall at the University of Rochester. At this size, it receives a muon rate that is normally around 360Hz. The rate, along with current barometric pressure and detector temperature, is recorded every five minutes. The data is posted to this website at 15 minute intervals.
