Note towers are twice as tall as the ones I did before. Simulations are still running!. Hydro and rotational versions are running. The tower base radius is resolved by 24 cells.
Bluegene! 512 procs, 64^3 + 2amr levels. Improved refinement criteria. Simulation stops due to memory problem.

Preliminary results. I see some divergence warnings of order 1e-13.
Azimuthal velocity=0.1*azimutal_Alfven_vel. Simulation was restarted
at about 75% of its total running time.
Azimuthal velocity=0.4*azimutal_Alfven_vel. No restarts.

New setup. Will run in scrambler and high resolution.
Mon. 10 jan 11 meeting: gas in ALL the domain should be in a stratified configuration and hydrostatic equilibrium with a backgrund central gravitational field. Rotation should happen continuously within the WHOLE magnetic (initial) cylinder with an azimuthal velocity related to the azimuthal Alfvenic speed (yet slower than the keplerian speed for a star like the Sun).
Will present results of this investigation in the Magnetic Fields in the Univere III Meeting.
