GRADES
The grade for the course will be based on a weighted average of the grades
of the weekly homeworks (20%), weekly quizzes in the recitation (5%),two
midterms (20% each), the final examination (30%) and the labs (5%).
The numerical grade will be converted to a letter grade according to the
table:

This is the minimum grade that you can get. Your actual grade may be higher,
determined by your performance in class. Also, if your performance has
improved during the course (slow start but good finish) you may get a better
grade than the table indicates.
