Final Exam is Monday, December 16, at 12:30 pm in B&L 173. Remember, you may bring one cheat sheet, with writing on both sides, to the exam. I will give you the same sheet of formulas from the cover of Jackson that you had for the midterm.
There will three computational questions on the following topics: macroscopic Maxwell equations; wave propagation in a medium; radiation. There will be one additional question with short answer parts. Special relativity will not be on the exam.

Solutions for all problem sets are now posted on the Homework page.

Revised solutions to Problem Set 4 are now posted on the Homework page. These have minor corrections to problem 2, and include a page that was missing earlier for problem 3.

The Midterm Exam will be Friday, October 25, 9:40 - 10:55, in B&L 173. It will cover all material up through Wednesday, October 23. See the Course Information page for a description of the "cheat sheet" that you are permitted to bring to the exam.
Problem Set 4, due Wednesday, October 23, in lecture, is now posted on the Homework page. Note: to help you prepare for the midterm exam, I will post the solutions to problem set 4 by 2pm on the due date. You therefore must turn this homework in on time in lecture, if you wish to receive credit for it.
