Solutions to Problem Set 8 are now posted on the Homework page.
Notes through lecture 30 are posted on the Lecture Notes page.
Please take a few moments to fill out the course evaluation survey available on the Blackboard system. I appreciate your feedback on the course.
The FINAL EXAM will be next week, Tuesday, December 17, 12:30-3:30pm in BL 269. I will give you the same formula sheet from the covers of Griffiths that you had for the Midterm. Otherwise, no notes, books, or electronic equipment are permitted. The final will focus on the material since the Midterm, so that is from lecture 14 onwards: dielectric and magnetic materials, energy and momentum in electromagnetic fields, EM waves in the vacuum, dielectrics, and conductors, and radiation. However anything from the entire semester may appear. But special relativity will not be on the exam. Good luck!
Notes through lecture 29 are now posted on the Lecture Notes page.
The course evaluation survey is now available on the Blackboard system. Please take a few minutes to fill out the survey. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
For problem 2 on Problem Set 8, you are to work in the electric dipole approximation, in the radiation zone.
