PHY 418: Statistical Mechanics I
The Final Exam has been graded and a histogram of scores is on the Homework page. I have returned your exam to you in your physics department mailbox. If you do not have a physics mailbox you may pick your exam up by stopping by my office. Course grades have been submitted to the registrar. Have a great summer!
The Final Exam and Solutions are now posted on the Homework page. The exams should be graded by the end of the week.
Your graded Problem Sets 7 and 8 will be placed in your physics department mailbox today or over the weekend, as soon as Ted finishes grading them. If you do not have a physics department mailbox, you will get them from me at the final exam. Good luck on the Final Exam!
Solutions to Problem Set 8 are now posted on the Homework page. You may pick up your graded Problem Set 7 from Ted in BL 457 The course evaluation survey is now open and available via the Blackboard system. Notes through the last lecture 28 are now posted on the Lecture Notes page. The FINAL EXAM will be next Monday, May 7, 8:30 - 11:30 am in Morey 501. The exam will consist of three or four problems focusing on material since the Midterm Exam, but not including our last topic of spin models and phase transitions. The exam is closed notes, closed book. Good luck!

The MIDTERM EXAM will take place on Friday, March 23, from 12:30 - 2:00 pm in Meliora 221. This is the Friday of the week following Spring Break. Note, the exam room is not our usual lecture room, it is in a different building! The exam will be closed book, no notes or electronic devices allowed. The exam can cover all material through the end of lecture 15 on Wednesday.
