Coloring surface atoms of gold nanorod with 2624 atoms

Surface atoms of gold nanorod with 2624 atoms have been colored with 10 colors according to larger local parabolic curvatures ( -0.2 -- 0.6 ). There are totally 100 configurations saved from continuous heating of the gold nanorod from 5K to 1468K.

The onset temperature of shape transition is about 480K and that of melting transition is about 1140K.
