About Me

I was born May 17, 1988 and grew up in Vestal, NY. I attended college at SUNY Geneseo where I obtained a BA in Physics and in Mathematics. I am currently a fifth year graduate student at the University of Rochester, and my primary field of interest is in Computational Astrophysics. More specifically, I am studying magnetohydrodynamic jets from young stellar objects. My main tool for studying these jets is an AMR code called AstroBEAR. In fact, the development of this code is a major part of my group's research efforts.
