9:50-10:10 - Break - discussion and refreshments (B+L front lobby)
10:10-10:35 - Basic formats and techniques for recitations and labs - Frank Wolfs
10:35-11:30 - workshop methodology - Vicki Roth
11:30-1:00 - lunch for all participants - hosted by the Department of Physics and Astronomy
1:00-1:50 - View and discuss videotape segments of example recitation sections - Priscilla Auchincloss and Dan Watson
1:50-2:10 - Discussion of intro. physics laboratories (physics lab TA's and TI's only) - Lynne Orr
2:10-5:30 - prepare for Friday's videotaping session.
5:30-7:30 - social, for TI's and all incoming physics and astronomy graduate students, organized by second year class (and perhaps older grad students) for first year class - location TBA
