In today’s and tomorrow’s workshop we will present some tips and techniques for conducting effective recitations and laboratory sessions.
In the continuing Graduate Teaching Seminar (Physics 597, required for first- year Physics and Astronomy graduate students), there will be extended discus- sions of important issues and techniques in teaching at the university level.
For the truly committed we also offer a certificate program in University Teaching of Physics, that involves designing and completely teaching an introductory physics course during the Summer session of classes.
