About Me
I am a Research Scientist working with the Indian Space Research Organisation, the national space agency of the Republic of India. My current work relates to radiative planet-star interactions in the exoplanetary systems, primarily its consequence on atmospheric dynamics and habitability in extra-solar planets. I am similarly interested in multi-body dynamics and chaotic behavior of the orbits and spins of planets and their host stars. I am also part of a team looking to determine the thermal structures and appearances of these planets through thermal emission measurements as a function of the orbital phase. Previously, I focused on Rossiter-McLaughlin effect in the radial velocity curves of stars hosting exoplanets. When I am not working, I can be found watching cricket, painting on canvases, or camping under the stars.
