After saying goodbye to our home and little buddies in Rochester, NY, we went on a five-day road trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. No photos were taken before Nebraska, since we were fed up with the flat corn fields. Lincoln, NE is a red city, which made us feel hotter in the summer. In contrast, Cheyenne, WY is a surprisingly delightful city.
The mountains in the Rocky Mountain National Park were so big that my Saab's clutch was getting worse. The downhill roads were so deep that my Saab harly used any gasoline and reported ambitiously to me that she would be able to run for another 824 miles with about 13 gallans in her tank.
The thunderstorm was pretty scary when we were on the road inside the mountains, from Greenriver, WY to the Flaming Gorge, espeically when we realized that my Saab was probably the only car on that road.
It's sarcastic that only black and white are used on the state flag of such a coloful state. Zion, Arches, and the Great Salt Lake have great views. Beautiful scenes can even been seen through the windows of my apartment. But don't forget Utah is the capital of Latter Day Saints (well known as Mormon).
