Teaching Experience

During my time at the University of Rochester I have served as both a teaching assistant, and an instructor for undergraduate courses in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Here is a list of courses to which I have contributed:

  • Physics 113 (Fall 2012) - General Physics I (mechanics for non-majors)
  • Physics 114 (Spring 2013 & 2014) - General Physics II (E&M, optics, and modern physics for non-majors)
  • Physics 217 (Fall 2008) - Electricity and Magnetism I (junior level E&M)
  • Physics 218 (Spring 2009) - Electricity and Magnetism II (junior level E&M)

In addition to these assignments as a teaching assistant, I was the sole instructor for the Department's Physics 113 course during the Summer of 2012 . For this six week summer course I prepared and gave a two-hour lecture four days a week, supervised three 2-hour workshops every week, and prepared and graded all coursework, quizzes and tests. My website for the course is archived here.
