Solutions to Problem Set 7 are now posted on the Homework page. Notes through the last lecture 28 are posted on the Lecture Notes page. FINAL EXAM is Wednesday, December 17, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in B&L 208.
Notes through lecture 26 are now posted on the Lecture Notes page. The FINAL EXAM will take place Wednesday, December 17, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am in B&L 208. The final counts 35% towards your final course grade. Of that 35%, roughly 25% worth of the final will be on material covered since the midterm exam. The remaining 10% worth may come from anywhere in the semester. The final exam is closed book, closed notes, no calculators.

The registrar has announced the date and time of our final exam. It will be Friday, December 19, at 7:15 pm in B&L 269. You will have two and one half hours for the exam.

Notes through lecture 14 are now posted on the Lecture Notes page. The MIDTERM EXAM will take place on Friday, October 27, from 11 am - 1 pm, in BL 269. The exam is closed book, closed notes, no calculators. The exam will cover material through the end of lecture 14.

Our MIDTERM EXAM will take place Friday, October 31, from 11 am -- 1 pm, in B&L 269. If you have a conflict with that time, please inform me immediately!

NOTE: Lecture next week on Wednesday, October 1, is canceled. There will be a makeup lecture that Friday, October 3, in our regular room at our regular time.
The due date for Problem Set 1 has been postponed until Wednesday, September 24. From now on I will try to have all homework due on a Wednesday. Notes through lecture 5 are now posted on the Lecture Notes page.
