The instructor for this course is Prof. Stephen Teitel. Prof. Teitel has been at the University of Rochester for over 30 years. He is a condensed matter theoriest who uses large scale numerical simulations to study phase transitions in different physical systems. His recent work has been on the flow and jamming of granular materials.

Prof. Teitel will be leading the Zoom discussion sessions on Wednesdays from 10:25-11:40am. Go to the PHY415 Home Page on Blackboard to see the Zoom link.
Prof. Teitel's office hour is Mondays 2:30-3:30pm. You may sign up for a one-on-one time slot during 2:30-3:00, or just drop in from 3:00-3:30. To sign up, click this link. To access this sign up sheet you must be logged in to the UR Office365 server. If this time is not convenient, please feel free to contact Prof. Teitel by email to arrange another time to chat.
