The MIDTERM EXAM will be Monday, March 20, at 10:25am - 12:20pm in BL 208. Note, this is not our regular lecture room. The exam will cover all material through the end of Notes 2-14. The exam is closed book, so no notes, books, calculators, phones, internet resources, or other material may be used. You may, however, bring one 8.5"x11" sheet of paper on which you have written whatever notes you like; you may write on only one side of the page, with one line of writing per ruled line of the page.

For practice you may see the midterm exams from previous years of this course by going to the course links found here.

Problem Set 5 has been posted on the Problem Sets page. This will be due March 23, the Thursday following the final exam. The last two problems on this set cover material within the scope of the midterm exam, so you might think to get started on these as part of your studying for the exam, rather than waiting until the exam is over.

Spring break is next week, so we meet back again on Monday, March 13. Enjoy your break!
