The Endterm Exam has been graded, and you may see your grade on Blackboard. The exam and its solution, and a histogram of exam grades, are posted on the Problem Sets page. Exams will be returned to your physics department mailbox on Monday. If you have any quesionts about how you were graded, please see me as soon as possible.

Final course grades have been submitted to the registrar.

Solutions to Problem Set 10 are now posted on the Problems Sets page.

Problem Set 9 has been graded, and you can see your grade on Blackboard. The TA reports that many students had trouble with problems 1 and 3, so make sure you read the posted solutions and understand whatever mistakes you made.

The Endterm Exam is this Thursday, May 7, from 12:30 - 2:30pm in BL 269. The exam will have three questions: one question on chemical equilibrium, one question on degenerate fermi gases, and one question on Bose-Einstein condensation.

If you have any questions and would like to meet before the Endterm Exam, please email me and we will set a time to chat, either in person or on zoom. Good luck on the exam!

The due date for Problem Set 1 has been delayed by one week, so it is now due Sunday, February 15. Because of the additional time you will have to work on it, I have also added two new problems to the assignment.

Problem Set 1, due Sunday February 8, is now posted on the Problem Sets page. We will cover the material needed to do this set next week.

Nimmy has set her office hour as Thursdays, 2-3pm in BL 257. Prof. Teitel's office hour is Mondays, 3-4pm.

Because of this week's snow day, and another lecture in the spring that I will have to cancel, two make-up lecture days have been added to the calendar. These will be on Fridays, April 17 and 24, from 9:00-10:15am in BL 109. Since this is the time period of the Graduate Research Seminar, you should all have that time free.
