About Kyoung Hee

Kyoung Hee received her B.A. in Science Education from Kongju National University in 1997 and B.A. in Physics from Korea University at 1999. She had majored in high energy physics and contributed to construct RPC(Resistive Plate Chambers) for the CMS(Compact Muon Solenoid) experiment at the LHC/CERN until she started her Ph.D progarm at the department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of Rochester at 2003.

She always wants to find an orgin of life and the worlds. So, she joined in Astronomy/Astrophysics group at the University of Rochester to find the answer from the Universe instead of from the elemetary particles in labaratories on the Earth.

She has been working to reduce and analyze IRS data from Spitzer as a member of IRS_Disks team under her advisor Prof. Dan M. Watson since 2004 summer.
Right now, she indulges in the protoplanetary disks in Orion A star-forming region, especially transitional disks.
