The instructor for this course is Prof. Stephen Teitel. Prof. Teitel has been at the University of Rochester for over 30 years. He is a condensed matter theoriest who uses large scale numerical simulations to study phase transitions in different physical systems. His recent work has been on the flow and jamming of granular materials.
