 Thursday, January 29, 2026

Problem Set 1, due Sunday February 8, is now posted on the Problem Sets page. We will cover the material needed to do this set next week.

Nimmy has set her office hour as Thursdays, 2-3pm in BL 257. Prof. Teitel's office hour is Mondays, 3-4pm.

Because of this week's snow day, and another lecture in the spring that I will have to cancel, two make-up lecture days have been added to the calendar. These will be on Fridays, April 17 and 24, from 9:00-10:15am in BL 109. Since this is the time period of the Graduate Research Seminar, you should all have that time free.

Solutions to Problem Set 0 are posted on the Problem Sets page. These solutions contain several interesting examples beyond the immediate scope of the problem set, so please read these notes carefully! These notes also appear as Notes 0 on the Notes page.

A video recording containing the simulations we did in the first lecture, and a video discussion of the solution to Problem Set 0, are now posted on the Videos page.
