Special Announcement: The Phys 217 Final Exam will be: Saturday Dec. 19 4pm-6pm in BL 270. Note that the exam is limited to 2 hours.
There will be: one question on magnetostatics; one question on dielectrics; one question on special methods in electrostatics; one multiple part question of short answers that can span the entire course.
I will give you the set of formulars on the inside cover of the text and a table of Legendre polynomials. You can bring one cheat sheet with writting on both sides (one line writting to one ruled line). You may bring a calculator, but you should not need it.
I am around in general this week except for Thurs before 3pm, so feel free to make an appointment to see me if you have any questions or need help. Solutions to all homework assignments are now on reserve in the POA library. Graded HW#11 and #12 can be picked up outside my office (BL 455B) -- S. Teitel
