Future Work
To recap, this meeting we demonstrated
- The new linear solver appears to be sufficiently robust.
- The behavior of the solution across varying exponents of T seems sensible.
- 3D multimode classic RT simulations are able to be carried out.
- There remains difficulty in achieving the expected behavior for the DT
ablator problem.
Based on these results, some goals include
- Determine the source of error in the DT problem. Fix it.
- Confirm the correctness of a single-mode nonclassical RT problem, presumably
via analytic growth rate confirmation (Kris).
- Proceed with 2D multimode nonclassical RT (Lan/Kris).
- Proceed with 3D multimode nonclassical RT (Lan/Kris).
Thank you.
