Last Meeting's "Future Work"

To recap, at the last meeting, we discussed several points:

  1. The correctness of 2D single-mode classic RT growth with AMR was confirmed.
  2. The performance of the original linear system solver was demonstrated.
  3. The correctness of 2D multimode classic RT growth with AMR was confirmed.
  4. The 3D multimode classic RT initialization with AMR was demonstrated.

Based on these results, we set the following goals.

  1. Further develop the linear system solver to create a solver robust to the desired physics (Sorin).
  2. Implement this updated solver in the simple RT problem (Kris/Sorin).
  3. Implement this updated solver with the DT ablator setup provided by Riccardo (Sorin/Kris).
  4. Demonstrate the ability to run a 3D multimode classic RT setup (Kris).
